Light Up Gosese Village: Bring Electricity Home
Imagine a village where the day ends when the sun sets, and students can't study after dark. For 20 homes in Gosese Village—long-time beneficiaries of FIOH-USA—this is now a reality thanks to our supporters!
- ✓Boost Business: Allow local entrepreneurs to store perishable goods and operate after hours.
- ✓Empower Students: Provide light so children can study in their homes after sunset.
- ✓Assure Safety: Increase security for all residents after dark.
$2,600 covers the installation of a main power line and internal wiring for each of the 20 homes.
Launch a New Primary School at Angelic Ark Center
The Angelic Ark Center shifted its mission following a government directive. Now, the dedicated rooms and space are ready for a new community primary school serving integrated orphans and local children for Grades 1 and 2.

St. Charles Nursery is a place of excellence with 3 FIOH-USA supported teachers. High demand requires doubling capacity so more children can receive early education and daily meals.
- ✓Expanding to two full classes and adding a third certified teacher.
- ✓Providing essential classroom furniture and library bookshelves.
- ✓Funding a vital feeding program, clean water tank, and campus security fencing.
$3,400 transforms St. Charles into a thriving, expanded learning center.
'Stop the Spot': Keep Girls in School
For many girls in Kisumu, their period means missing 3 to 5 days of school every month. The 'Stop the Spot' program provides sanitary products so girls never fall behind in their education.
- ✓Expanding the program to 2 additional partner primary schools.
- ✓Provides a full year's supply of monthly sanitary napkins for young women.
- ✓Ensures girls stay in class continuously and complete their national exams.
$1,000 per school ($5,000 total) provides full-year supplies for 5 schools.
Invest in the Future: Laptops for Nursing Students
Sponsored nursing students require laptops to conduct clinical research and take online national exams. This is a sustainable revolving loan program.
- ✓Laptops loaned for the full 3–4 year nursing curriculum.
- ✓Returned upon graduation and handed down to the next cohort of student nurses.
- ✓Removes digital poverty barriers to essential medical accreditation.

Student High School & College Tuition Sponsorships
Direct tuition support for 13+ deserving secondary and post-secondary students who cannot afford annual tuition and board fees.
